About Carol Baron, Interior Designer

Carol Baron has been chosen numerous times as designer of choice for the Philadelphia/Fort Washington Home Shows. In that capacity she has designed Celebrity Dream Rooms for Senator Arlen Specter, Governor Robert Casey, Mayor Wilson Goode, Baseball Hall-of-Famer Mike Schmidt, TV Writer Agnes Nixon, and TV personalities Lisa Thomas Laury, Orien Reed, Don Polec and Steve Highsmith.

She frequently conducts group tours of the Marketplace Design Center - the designer's resource for decorative home furnishings in the Delaware Valley; and regularly presents free programs on Interior Design to civic organizations. Descriptions of her design skills have appeared in numerous newspaper and magazine articles.

Ms. Baron has served as a Board Member and Vice President of the International Interior Design Association (IIDA); a member of the International Furnishings and Design Association (IFDA) Philadelphia Chapter; the Interior Designer's Licensing Coalition of Pennsylvania (IDLCPA), and the American Society of Interior Designers (ASID). Ms. Baron was re-elected to the Women's Board of United Jewish Federation of Princeton/Mercer/Bucks and is a member of the women's board for the Women for Greenwood House.
